Returning from this experience, Thomas expanded his knowledge by joining Cereneo Foundation as a Research Visitor in April 2023. During his tenure, he gained valuable insights into patient interactions and conducted independent research on camera-based assessments for upper limb movement quality. Simultaneously, Thomas took on the position of a Software Developer at Cereneo Clinic, contributing to the enhancement of data functions, and hospital information management systems, and providing support to IT Infrastructure.

Thomas joined the SCAI Lab as a Research Assistant, where he concentrates on developing standardized protocols and data pipelines. His responsibilities encompass streamlining the entire process of data collection, storage, analysis, and presentation of medical data involving wearable devices.
