Pascal Schlegel
Pascal Schlegel is pursuing his Master's degree in Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zurich with a focus on Rehabilitation and Inclusion, following his Bachelor's degree in the same program completed in 2024. His academic and professional journey has centered on the intersection of machine learning, wearable sensing, and clinical applications, with a strong emphasis on neurorehabilitation, digital biomarkers, and translational health technologies.
Pascal first joined the SCAI Lab in July 2025 as an intern, where he designed and delivered a data evaluation pipeline for multimodal wearable motion data from neurorehabilitation patients, enabling structured effort and performance analysis. He is currently completing his Master's thesis at the lab, building a multimodal therapy logging system for neurorehabilitation patients that integrates physiological and kinematic signals.
Since April 2026, Pascal has continued at the SCAI Lab as a Research Assistant, contributing to ongoing neurorehabilitation research through data analysis and close collaboration with clinical partners. His research interests include digital biomarkers, multimodal biosensing, wearable sensing, and machine learning for neurorehabilitation.
